BrickHouse  /  What we build

Four kinds of work.

Two of them we hand over. Two of them we keep. All four start the same way — with somebody describing a bottleneck in plain language.

01 — Client builds

The tool that does not exist yet

You have outgrown the spreadsheet. The off-the-shelf software fits eighty percent and fights you on the rest. The workaround has quietly become somebody’s full-time job.

We scope it, build it, ship it, and stay on it while it settles in. Not a handover and an invoice — we are still there when the first month of real use turns up the things nobody predicted.

02 — Workflow and process

Fix the flow before the code

We map how work actually moves through your shop, not how the org chart says it does. Floor, office, and the parts nobody documents.

Sometimes the answer is software. Sometimes it is three fewer handoffs and a form that stops lying to you. We will tell you which, including when the answer is that you should not spend the money.

03 — Manufacturing and product service

The unglamorous middle

Quoting. Scheduling. Work orders. Inventory counts that disagree with the shelf. Warranty claims. Chasing suppliers. Closing out field jobs.

None of it is on anybody’s website. All of it decides whether you can take double the volume without doubling the people.

04 — Owned products

Things we build for our own shelf

We build and sell our own software. Client work teaches us where the real pain sits in a trade, and the products come out of what we learn there.

Datum is the first one out the door: real-time market data, one notification, no dashboard.

Sectors

Same pattern. Different trade.

Every build teaches us a sector, and every sector we learn becomes something we can own.

What we do not do

Worth saying out loud.

  • We do not take a project we think should be solved with a process change and sell you software instead.
  • We do not build something, invoice, and disappear. The deal structure makes that a bad idea for us.
  • We do not take on work in a trade we cannot get inside of. If we cannot spend time on your floor, we are guessing.
  • We do not quote from a spec document alone. A spec is what somebody thinks the problem is.

Tell us what is slowing you down.

One conversation, no deck. Describe the bottleneck in plain language and we will tell you honestly whether it is a build, a process fix, or something you should not spend money on at all.
